The Rain Forest stretches over the slopes of Pichincha Volcano, at altitudes from 4,700 to 1,400 meters, (15,500 to 4,600 feet) and covers diverse ecosystems ranging from the cloud-high, treeless plateau called "páramo" through subtropical forest to Amazon tropical rain forest.

Lloa-Mindo fits both, bird watchers and adventurous types. On this hike you will enjoy the views of, great waterfalls, colorful Orchid fields, rainforest with wide range of plants, diverse types of butterflies, more than 500 species of  Birds and even big Mammals like the black spectacle bear (Tremarctos ornatus).

This trek will also challenge you by crossing rivers over narrow wooden bridges, bush walking, and passing the big river of Cinto on a small "Tarabita".

The first night we will spend in camping site near the river.  On the second day we will arrive to the protected 48,000-acre (19,200 hectares) Mindo Nambillo Reserve and stay the night close to the town.

On the third day we will have a visit in the high waterfalls where you can swim in the warm crystal clear water and will enjoy the opportunity to observe the rainforest from above by passing the 13 lines huge Canopy trail.

14:30	Arrive to camping site. (Usually rain starts).
16:00	Lecture about the rain forest.
18:30	Healthy warm Dinner.

7:00	Start trekking into the forest.
14:00	Arrival to the town of Mindo.
14:30	Lunch in town.
19:00	Delicious local food (Dinner not included).
	Night in Hostel (shared/private rooms to your choice).
Day 3

7:30	Bird watching.
10:00	Canopy.
12:00	Lunch in town.
13:00	Visit Chocolate Artisanal Factory.
15:00	Travel back to Quito by public bus.
18:00	End of tour Q restaurant.
